What makes it different? The new state of the art microsphere technology! The formulation uses the key ingredients of retinol and niacinamide inside a special micro-encapsulation – it’s like a microsphere where the active ingredients, in this case oil soluble retinol which is a powerful source of vitamin A and niacinamide, a form of vitamin B are placed and then surrounded by a multilayer liquid crystalline membrane. This membrane allows these active ingredients to maintain stability and concentration levels.
Retinol is known for its remarkable abilities to restore the firmness in aging skin, stimulating cell renewal and increasing collagen production, whilst niacinamide helps to reinforce the barrier function of the skin and helps to prevent glycation, a process whereby glucose reacts with proteins, including the skins collagen which contributes to ageing.
This potent microencapsulation delivery process of these ingredients begins when the product is applied to the skin. These ingredients are released from the film and move deep into the skin layers where the skin lipids are more accepting of the active ingredients.
Working synergistically with the new micro-encapsulation delivery is the new Age Reversal Firming Complex which comprises of powerful peptides such as palmitoyl tripeptide-5, antioxidants, vitamin C and botanical extracts to fortify and smooth skin. Ash tree bark extract, known for its vascular protective properties which also works well with microencapsulated niacinamide, is also used to reduce dark under eye circles and puffiness.
Age Reversal Eye Complex is perfect for mature or prematurely aged skin. For optimal results use after cleansing at night and then using a small amount, smooth and pat around the eye area. We recommend to initially apply it alternative nights for about two weeks and then continue to use it nightly. As with all retinol products, remember to use sunscreen during the day.
