Relief Essence is part of the UltraCalmingTM line and works synergistically to
relieve, restore and hydrate sensitive skin against redness, discomfort and dehydration.
What is an essence?
Redness Relief Essence is a hybrid product that has longer lasting benefits over time. It is lightweight like a toner but concentrated like a serum so it is like a supercharged toner that has a refreshing formula to visibly reduce redness and help reduce sensitivity by strengthening the skin’s moisture barrier.
How does it work:
Having sensitive skin means that the skins protective moisture barrier is compromised and lacking in essential moisture and lipids that keep it strong. This compromised protective barrier can be likened to a crumbling wall which lets moisture escape and allows irritants to enter the skin. Ensuring your skins protective barrier resilience to the environment and providing essential hydration is key to a healthy skin.
Redness Relief Essence is formulated to calm and restore a sensitive skin. It aims to visibly reduce redness to skins that have high colour or flush/blush and helps to strengthen the barrier function to enhance the skin resilience to the environment.
Containing Aloe Vera Juice which is hydrating and cooling on the skin; it helps to instantly make the skin feel more comfortable whilst naturally anti-oxidant oat derived Beta Glucan along with Vitamin E help soothe and relieve skin irritation. Licorice Root Extract calms the skin and a new molecule called Piperonyl Glucoside visibly targets redness.
Who can use it?
Any skin can use Redness Relief Essence. From genetically sensitive to sensitised, irritated and even skins that suffer from redness from breakouts.
How do I use Redness Relief Essence?
After cleansing, gently shake the bottle and take a couple of drops and press onto the skin. If you use the Ultracalming Serum Concentrate or Barrier Defence Booster apply next and then follow with a moisturiser like Calm Water Gel. For best results, we recommend to use it twice daily for continuous relief or as needed if you suffer from intermittent sensitivity.
